Free online events to help Warwickshire families navigate divorce and separation

Who will live where? How do we sort finances? Who gets the dog?

Couples in Warwickshire who have made the decision to separate are invited to find out how they can avoid a court battle, at a series of free online events taking place during Family Mediation Week (Monday 26th – Friday 30th January 2026).

‘Family Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process which provides separating and divorcing couples with the opportunity to make their own decisions about future arrangements for their children, finances and property’ says Jessica Vining of Spa Family Mediation.

In family mediation, an independent, professionally trained mediator helps you work things out together.

‘We are here to make the process calmer and less painful for all involved’, Jessica Vining added.

Warwickshire residents are invited to join webinars, including a Monday lunchtime Q&A with ‘This Morning’ TV Agony Aunt, Deidre Sanders, about family separation and mediation.

Other sessions designed for members of the public include:

  • ‘3 must -read books for parents navigating separation’ – interviews with the authors.
  • A two-part session: ‘A beginner’s guide to how mediation can help you in your separation and divorce’ – covering Children and Finances.
